Is it possible to add dedicated graphics in my Dell laptop?

Hi,

I have just bought Dell Vostro 15 3558 laptop which comes with Intel HD graphics. Is it possible to add dedicated graphics card like NVIDIA?

Kindly help me on this, It is my first laptop and I am not really much aware of these things.

Regards,

Likely not. Developments are being made for external graphics cards but are in the next generation of hardware coming. See here for more details:

It's possible, but not practical.  It will require a complete mainboard change (including the CPU, so it will be expensive - expect more than 50% of the initial cost of the system), and it will void your warranty.

If you've purchased from Dell, and are within 21 days of shipment, your best *** is to return the system and order a new one with the GPU you want.
