I have a 7438 and the keyboard has stoped working does anybody know if i can start up so i can go straight to the touch screen keyboard please?

Did the keyboard stop responding after any Windows update or software changes like game or application installation?
Does the caps lock key light up when pressed?
Shutdown the computer by using the power button & start the computer by tapping F2 to get into bios & check if the keyboard works here.
When on the lock screen, click on the ease of access tab & click on-screen keyboard check if this is working.
Finally, you can try connecting an external keyboard. This will allow us to ascertain if there is an issue with the physical keyboard or if it is an OS issue.
