Keyboard removal from 7110

Trying to remove the keyboard on my 7110.  After popping the 4 tabs on the top and sliding a credit card around the edges I started trying to peel it back.  However I'm only removing the top layer of plastic and not the keys.  I'm unable to get under the keyboard itself. I don't want to prod and pry and end up really messing up keyboard.

Removing all of the screws on the bottom of the palm rest does no good. I have watched all the videos I could find and followed the directions in the service manual.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Nothing spilled on it.  I just had it off a couple days ago and all went well then.  When I pry all that is coming is the plastic surrounding the keys.

It should simply pop out -- it's not held down by screws.  Is there a possibility that something was spilled on the keyboard that became adhesive (such as a sugary drink)?

I figured out the original problem and i don't need to remove the keyboard.
