L502x Replacement battery? Third party?
Hi,
I got the 9 cell battery when I first purchased my Dell XPS 15 L502X and now I would like to get the 6 cell battery for less weight and the slimmer design.
I have been searching around and on the Dell site it is still £100+ for the 6 cell battery, where on eBay I can get one for around £20.
Does anyone have any experience with third party batteries? Is there any danger to using them or anything I should know?

With cheap batteries, you get what you pay for - they may lack the safety features of an OEM unit, and they can easily create a false economy if they wind up damaging your system.
