LaptOp screen somtimes work and sometimes it give 8 beep
I have an inspiron n5010 1gb ati graphic card and 3 gb ram. My laptop started giving 8 beep sound when i start it. I tried everything its lcd cable is fine its lcd diaplay is fine. I tied it start it many time's but it wouldn't and sometimes it get started working but after sometime it shows your graphic driver has failed/crashed and my screen get distorted again lime in black and white pixels and when i restart it it gives me 8 beep sound... If iwant to buy a new motherboard how much it will cost me in rupee... And if there is any problem in motherboard so what should i do buy new motherboard or repair old one. Does dell repair motherboard .. How much will it cost..

Hi akkisaini,
I would suggest you to update the BIOS on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, then download the BIOS from BIOS section onto the system and install it.

If the warranty is expired you can remove and reseat the LCD screen with a help of a computer technician using the manual from the link below punch in the system service tag or express service code and you can access the user manual for removing and reseating of the LCD screen.

My bios is up to date... And i tried ti reset my lcd cable many time... Cable is fine and lcd is fine aswell.. What rlse could it be ..and how to resolve it.
