Laptop E7240 proper uninstall of Dell Data protection software and manager

Hi all,

I have a new E7240 laptop prepping for a user. By accident I installed the Dell data protection software and manager. I do not want this feature. I did not encrypt anything. I assume I can just uninstall the software without issue? It was delivered via the Dell Digital Delivery software versus the  Command update software. I mistakenly thought the Digital Delivery was the software update utility.

Yes, you should simply be able uninstall Dell Data Protection using Programs and Features.
