Laptop USB Port
My laptop has a 3.0 USB port but my printer is old. When I tried to hookup the two it says my usb port on the printer is an older version. Is there a way to convert it to 3.0?

Hi Marelyn,
Please share the exact system model and the printer model.
Please share if you have received any specific error message while connecting the printer.
Unfortunately, the USB port cannot be converted to a USB 3.0. However, it is downward compatible. You may try to connect the printer to a USB. 2.0 port and check for functionality.
Keep me posted. I'll be glad to assist.
