Laptop beeping
My laptop will not start but beeps 7 times repeatedly when I try to turn it on. It is a Dell Inspirion M 5030 and has never done this before. Can you help me get it started?

Hi PHYLLISREN,
The 7 beeps mean it is a CPU failure. However, I would suspect the motherboard at this point. See this article for beep codes - http://dell.to/1IuETMX

However, finding the motherboard for this old model might be quite a search.
My personal suggestion is that you invest your money on a new machine than to repair this system. However, that is your discretion.
