Laptop is not starting (booting)

Hi . I recently purchased a laptop of dell , model no dell inspiron 15r 5537 , yesterday morning it was good but at eve ot got messed up I'm pressing the power leu continously but nothing is happening.  I have tried almost every solution please help me

Hi vchavan11 ,

I’d suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below and check for issue resolution.
  1. Switch off the computer.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter from the system.
  3. Remove the battery from the computer.
  4. Press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds.
  5. Then connect back all the peripherals and check if you are able to switch on the system.

Also, I suggest you reseat a few components, like memory, hard drive, optical drive, wireless cards and see if that make a difference.You may refer to manual in the link below for removing and reseating of components.

Hi Ravi BC,

I'm having similar kind of problem and i have reported this issue on the forum last year but didn't get any professional help. Could you please look into this and suggest should i do to fix this issue?

There are many people who have complained about Dell 1545 module but can't figure out the root cause of the issue. Please have a look at this issue and suggest what needs to be done to rectify the problem:
