My input for my laptop charger seems to be not grabbing the plug completely to start the charge. I have to push in extremely hard to get the charge to begin, and as soon as I let go, the charge stops. The connector is very loose inside laptop.

Try a new adapter first -- Dell OEM, not third party. If that doesn't solve the problem, on most newer models the DC jack is replaceable - replace the jack.

Can I Do The REPAIR Myself, or does it have to be taken to a Authorized DELL Repair Center? The WARRANTY is Good until APRIL 27 2017.
It probably should be done by Dell, but they may not cover it -- they may deem it accidental damage. Depending on the model system you have, the jack replacement may be easy or it may be quite difficult.
I am having the same problem. I think my charging port is broken because I have replaced my AC adapter and my laptop still wont charge. I think the charging port is broken on my Inspiron. What would be the fix to that?
