Laptop problem, battery doesn't charge if laptop is on after 90%
Hello,
My laptop is an Alienware 17 R3 and I recently encountered the following problem:
While playing the witcher 3 and plugging the charger(battery was at 30%), my laptop started to switch between plugged-in and unplugged charger mode, every second, intermittently.
I tried many times to remove the battery, reinstall drivers and change the charger's wire but didn't fix my problem.
Doing many tests I realized that problem persists only when battery is < 90%~, above this there isn't any problem...
I don't know what is the cause and how to fix it, maybe can be the OS(Windows 10 last update), I don't know..
BIOS is also on latest version for my laptop.
Can you help me please? It's a very critical problem and I need help asap!

Sounds like the adapter isn't making good contact with the DC jack. Try a new adapter first - if that doesn't solve the problem, replace the DC in jack:

I don't think that can solve my problem, because charger works aswell if laptop is off or if I turn it on without playing any game..also at 20% of battery charge
