Latitude D410 Docking Station no longer recognised!

Just come back from holiday to find that my docking station is no longer recognised by my laptop. It doesn't show up anywhere, nor can I use the USB ports, DVD re-writer etc. Curiously, I can still connect to a monitor and the docking station powers my laptop and provides network access...but that's it.

Can anyone give me any pointers on how to get it all working again? Apparently no one used my desk or dock while I was away so there's no explanation to the change!

Thanks!

:-)

Tagging on.. Same issue, also the USB ports sometimes don't seem to work on the laptop itself, but usually just the dock. I also noticed it says there is no battery installed in the BOIS. I've used different docking stations, rebuilt the laptop, flashed BOIS updated all the drivers with the 'current' drivers off support.dell.com

I am having the same issue, but with a Latitude D420.  Is there a solution?
