Latitude D600 – Cracked LCD
Hi everybody,
My old Latitude’s display is cracked and I wanna fix it.
I can’t replace it yet as one of the keyboard screws are stripped.

You can call the Dell Spare Parts Department at 1-877-717-3355 for ordering a replacement LCD as well as screws for the laptop. If the screw is striped there are tricks to removing a stripped screw. Below is one that may help:If you can find a thin enough one for the tiny screw, the best way to undo a stripped screw is with a rubber band. Just place the rubber band flat over the screw, and it will will in the gaps and provide enough friction to get the screw out.
