Latitude D820 SSD

Jump to solution

Hi, I purchased a Samsung 250GB SSD for a Latitude D820, but the try isn't recognized when I try to install Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.  Any advice on how to make this work?

Thank you.

Does the system BIOS sense the drive, or does it show "not connected".  The SSD is likely a 7 mm drive -- the system is designed for a 9.5 mm drive.  If the drive isn't connected to the mainboard, install a spacer so that it makes proper contact with the board.
