Latitude E5470 W7x86 drivers missing from downloads

The drivers download page no longer lists W7 x86 for drivers?  They were there a couple of months ago, but not now, and I have not been able to find anything stating that W7x86 support is being dropped.

The issue is resolved.  Dell Support re-enabled the W7 x86 drivers list in the drivers download page.

Hi davidf58,

Thanks for posting.

The  Windows 7 64 bit drivers are the same for both systems.

Thanks.  I ran a few (not all) of the updated driver installs under the W7 64bit downloads; the Intel MEI installer failed with no details, and the video driver failed with "system does not meet the minimum specifications" - the video driver package seems to only have x64 content.

Hi Davidf58,

If you used your Service Tag to find the drivers, and your computer has the 32-bit version of Windows it is X86. If it lists 64-bit Operating System, it is running the 64-bit (x64) version of Windows.

Here is information for locating Windows 7 32-x86 drivers for your computer.

Make sure you install the drivers in correct order for the hardware to work properly. Your computer may or may not have all the drivers listed in the install order information.

Robert
