Latitude E5500

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but my question is in regards to the biometric fingerprint scanner. One of my users received the laptop, and managed to get their credentials set up, before the laptop was put on the domain. After hooking the laptop into our network, the credentials he set-up no longer function, and he can no longer set the fingers he already used without getting and error. I'm not sure if the prints were disasociated with the account, or if the network user overwrote the local one. Any ideas?
