Latitude E6230 - Intermittent Charging Status
Hi All,
I have an issue with my latitude E6230 laptop. When I plug in the charger to the machine it doesn't charge continuously. I have a on- off charging status on the desktop icon and the LED inditicator.
Hopes you could help me. I am afraid my battery will be damage because of this.

First thing to try is a different OEM Dell AC adapter. If that doesn't fix the problem, replace the DC power jack:

And if that doesn't solve it, replace the mainboard.

Updates on my issue.
When i plug in a new OEM charger still the same concern so i tried to remove the battery.
Then the following things happen.
1. The machine reboot 2-3 times then continue to bootup. I can use the machine without the battery.
2. When i insert my battery the machine shutdown immediately then i heard a abnormal sound comibg from the charger. The LED light of yhe charger somehow flickering.
