Latitude E7450 with Nvidia graphic card SSD upgrade options

I have a E7450 with Nvidia graphic card and 128gb SSD with Windows 10. I would like to upgrade the SSD to around 500gb and would like to know what others have tried or would recommend. I tried a crucial MX300 2.5inch 525gb SSD which did not work.  Thank you.

Any 2.5" SSD will work - what "did not work" about the MX300 (which Crucial lists as compatible with your system)?

Crucial say that it doesn't work with the E7450 with a Nvidia graphics card.  I don't know why that is though.

If it's because of the form factor, you may be limited to an mSATA drive.  Check the existing drive - if that's what it is, you'll need something like this:

Note:  mSATA (which this system uses) is not the now more common M.2 format.  It's completely different.
