Lost recovery DVD, how to install windows OS?

Hi, My latitude E440 hdd crashed and it was promptly replaced by Dell Support, however I have lost my recovery DVD but have windows OS product key with me. So how do i install windows 8.1 64 bit professional OS onto my laptop? Please advise. I have raised support ticket no reply yet and I cannot wait for 3 days bcos of weekend. Any urgent help? Thanks in advance.

Cleohari,

You can click the link below to download the Windows 8.1 ISO image for your computer. Once on the site add your system service tag.

Hello Jesse,

Thanks for the quick reply, I've checked against my service tag and it said "Dell hosted recovery image is currently not available for the service tag you entered" ..what to do know?

Follow the instructions here to Download Windows 8.1 from Microsoft:

Alternatively follow the instructions here to Download Windows 10 TH2 from Microsoft and Clean Install using your Windows 8.1 OEM Product Key:
