M101Z: Blank Screen
When I hit the power button on my laptop, the power LED's come on, the fan starts whiring, and the screen turns on. (It's a lit black instead of an off black). But the screen stays blank.
If I hook the laptop up to an external monitor, everything runs fine on the external monitor, (it boots windows, I can get to the BIOS etc) but the laptop monitor won't come to life, other than the lit black screen.
D + Power flashes white, black, red, green, blue twice then shuts off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to replace your monitor for that. I had the same problem with my HP and what I did was I replaced the monitor I previously have.

I can't take it apart and re-seat any wires or anything?
