M17xR2 - ATI Drivers Crossfire 5870 - Issues Map Load Time

Hi all

Have just received my new M17xR2 with Crossfire 5870, 6Gb Ram and SSD's. The drivers installed are 03/02/2010 - 8.692.2.0

The main game I play is Battlefield Bad Company 2 (BF BC2).  The frame rates in game are great , no issues at all.  

BUT the game load time when joining a server or changing maps takes 1 - 2 minutes.  Others are in and playing for ages before I get in.  From posts I have read it all seems to be affected by the version of the drivers I am using.

Supposedly ATI 10.5 drivers have fixed the issue, but I cannot update the ATI drivers to 10.5 or 10.6, the system seems to lock them out.

I am not getting BSOD as some others have mentioned.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated
