Machine life & Windows 10 Sleep mode
- Which cause greater wear and tear on a new Inspiron 15 laptop. Leaving the machine on for two hours with no use, or powering down and rebooting. I do not mind having to spend the extra time required to re-boot. I want to preserve the life on my machine.
- I am running Windows 10. How should sleep perform?

Thank you for writing us!
If it is a short period or time ( Couple of hours) then sleep shouldnt be a problem however if there its for longer periods of time then we would suggest shutting down .
