my dell 7520 motherboard became dead just one month after the warranty got over and now when i attempted to get a new motherboard from dell they said the motherboard is unavailable and wouldn't be available in future also i'm extremely disappointed with this as the laptop cost was also high.

I am sorry to know that you had issues with your computer motherboard and the Hardware Warranty is expired. Please let us know if there was any Hardware / Software change made recently on your computer. The Hardware part depends on the availability according to the running model, if a certain part is not available it might take time to get the stock.
Same thing happened to me I got the Inspiron 15r special edition in 2013 and within 6 months they had to put a new mother board in and now it is out again and because my warranty is out I to was told there would not be any. I paid over 1400.00 for this computer and it did not even last 3 years.
Last to computers that I have bought were from Dell but due to poor customer service . I not sure about using Dell again.
This is the 3rd time I have had to have a mother board put in this same system. one within 6months or so of buying it , One Feb 15 2016 and now another Jan 2017 . Each time it is 259.00 plus tax. When I asked if I could get insurance to cover it this time when I got it fixed the chat person - Why do you not just buy another. I think anything you paid over 1400 dollars for in 2013 and have had fixed by Dell over 3 times in this period should be working if the thing was not *** from the start. Very Rude people.
