Move HD from one Studio 15 to another?
I have 2 identical Studio 15 laptops. Pretty sure the only difference between the 2 is processor speed. Both have Windows Vista Home.
Can I swap the hard drives between them? Basically, one I've been using for a while and the other is brand new, but I'd like to make the new one my working laptop, but don't want to have to reinstall everything, move my files, etc.
Are there serial numbers on the HD or in installed software that might be an issue?

There's no generic answer. Windows won't care as long as the hardware is identical other than the CPU speed. Some installed software DOES generate a checksum and won't run if you make the swap, though - check with the individual software publishers.
