My AC-ADAPTER does not charge anymore?
My 90W-AC ADAPTER just stopped charging my computer? It happend from one day to another and i did not do anything unusual to the computer or the battery. I have a Computer called: Studio 17, and i use the battery with 6-cellslitiumjonbattery, 56 watt hours. What can i do? Do i need to buy a new one? Does the dell adapters only last for less than 2 years?

Check the BIOS setup. If the AC adapter is listed as "unknown", replace the adapter with a new one. If that doesn't solve the problem - replace the power jack (on a cable inside the system). If that fails to resolve the problem, replace the mainboard.
