My Inspiron 6400 is not able to run (regularly) Civilation IV Beyond the Sword...
Help!
Each time I try to run the Civ. IV game, I get this (among other message.) "computer failed to allocate enough video memory to run this application." anthother message is the standard "windows error report" message.
I have tried down-loading "patches" and "upgrades" from DELL....and on all accounts my computer should be able to run this game.
My driver is an ATI Radeon X1300...is that the problem? Supposedly the game only needs a Radeon 7500 or better.

You running the latest drivers?
Did you install the patch version 1.52 for those having problems with ATI cards?
