My brand new Dell XPS13 isn't charging even when it is plugged in?
I got a dell xps13 for christmas and it came precharged. I plugged it in to charge yesterday night when it was at 1% and it was still at 1% this morning after 9 or so hours. I plugged it into a few different outlets and it still wasn't working. When it's plugged in to the charger, it shows up as 1% but also says "not charging". Is this a hardware issue or is it just me?

Return it.
I would not fiddle with anything that needs "repair". I expect something I buy brand new to work. PERIOD.

Hve you checked the status of the battery in BIOS? Is the led on the ac adpater lit when connected to the laptop?
