My gaming needs are crushed

A new game called the sims 3 is coming out tomorrow and i want to buy it. But im not sure if i will be able to run it. Everything is fine on my computer to run it but my processor speed. It says for windows vista I need a 2.4 Ghz processor. I only have a 2.0 Ghz processor for some reason. Will it not run on my computer at all?\

sims 3 requirements:

FOR WINDOWS VISTA

Windows Vista (Service Pack 1)
2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
1.5 GB RAM
At least 6.5 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content
128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0

My COMPUTER:

Dell inspiron I1720

Processor: Intel (R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00 GHz 2.00GHz

Memory (RAM): 3070 MB (3.0GB)

15.6 GB of Hard drive space

128 MB video Card

Will it not run just because of the processor speed and will it cost a lot to upgrade my processor T_T help!!
