My laptop keyboard doesn't work

Hello,

I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 5558 laptop two days ago. I turned on this laptop and the keyboard doesn't work. I have used the screen keyboard to finish the configuration (date, time, name and more), thinking that the problem was in the configuration, but not.

What's the problem? How Can I solved it?

Thanks. ;)

You should check to see if all windows updates are installed.

1. Press Windows logo key on the left bottom taskbar, and then click Settings

2. Select Update & security > Windows Update > Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.

You can also update the Audio driver in Device Manager.

1. Type Device Manager onto the search bar, look under "Sound, video, and game controllers", select your sound card, open it, select the Driver tab, and select Update Driver.
