First thing to do is power off, remove the battery and hold the power button for 30 sec.  Remove and reinstall both memory modules.  If that doesn't work, try each memory module one at a time until you isolate the bad module (replace with a new one) or the bad socket (in which case you'll need to replace the mainboard).
