My laptop produces 5 beep sounds when power on
I need help from the experts. My laptop produces 5 beep sounds on startup. It's very annoying, and could you please help me to fix this problem?
I'm using Windows 8 on my Dell N4050.
Thank you.

5 beeps indicate a process error. Good chance it's a hardware issue, run the diagnositcs software and check out Windows System Settings for problems

Five beeps is a clock error - either caused by a bad CMOS battery or a bad clock chip. First try changing the CMOS battery -- its a CR-2032 lithium battery on the mainboard (page 43 of the service manual)

If that doesn't solve the problem, it's the clock chip itself that's bad - unfortunately that means a replacement maiboard. Figure on $300+ for that -- labor included, meaning it may be more cost-effective to shop for a new system.
