I have a N5030 laptop Windows 7. I can only start my system in safemode with networking and I have no audio and sound. Help!

Hello. That might be a software or a hardware failure, so run the ePSA diagnostics tests on the hardware. Having no audio while in safe mode is normal.
I had a similar problem a couple of months ago due to the failure of one of my ram modules.

Hello. I was referring to the built-in PSA (or ePSA) diagnostics. It is part of the BIOS and does not require an additional download. Click on my link in blue letters to see what I mean.

I am unable to download the Dell System Detect Client so that I can run the diagnostics.

Lettgee,
Restart the computer and press F12 at startup. Run the full diagnostics and post back any error message.

so i am having the same problem when i run my laptop on safe mode with networking i have no sound did the diagnostic test and i got error code 0142 and i also got error code 0f00:0244 and error code 0f00:1a44 any help would be very much appreciated.. thanks so much

There is a code 2000-0142 that means the hard drive test was unsuccessful, and to reconnect the hard drive and run the test again.
Those are also hard drive error codes, i believe.
That is normal. If you want to have audio while in safe mode you can google that. There are some youtubes about it.
