Need Drivers for some hardware.

I have 2 USB that don't work.

My laptop is a XPS 17 L702X Early 2011.

I need the drivers. I went to device manager and 2 have exclamation points next to them.

"Other Devices" - Universal Series Bus (USB) Controller and the other says "Unknown Device".

I went to dell drivers for this laptop but only 64 bit are available. I downgraded this to windows 7 32 Bit which is why I believe the drivers are not available.

Any Help? I will provide more info if needed. I'll be lurking around. Thank you for your help.

Why downgrade to Windows 7 32-bit?

I have been running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and have yet to encounter a problem installing software.

RE: Need Drivers for some hardware.

Understandable question. Answer is that I have a mechanic shop and use programs that unfortunately use windows 32 bit. Most of the programs are 32 bit compatible. I know there's ways to switch and still have the programs work, but I don't want the headache. Either way, it's just 2 USB ports that don't work. Everything else is perfect. So you see my problem.

Windows 7 64-bit can run 32-bit programs.

They are installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)  directory

The 64-bit programs are installed in the C:\Program Files  directory
