Can anyone identify this part? I had to replace the keyboard on my Dell N5010 15R notebook, when I removed the old keyboard I saw this part lying loose.
It looks like a connector but not sure for which component.It looks like a connector for the optical drive,but if the optical drive on the system is working,I may be wrong.Below is the picture of a system board for your system model.Compare this picture with your system board and see if you can make out which part is missing.
Thank you for the reply. Turns out that it is the clamp that holds the cable just below and to the left of the keyboard input. Unsure what that is for, but I was able to snap ip back in place to secure the cable.
