No supported Intel Wireless Adapter Found on Inspiron N5110

After updating drivers on my on Inspiron N5110I cannot get my wireless to function. I get the following message when I open "Intel My WiFi":

No supported Intel Wireless Adapter Found

Any suggestions on what steps to take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue? Much thanks.

Thanks, I got it working by reinstalling the driver using the repair option. After that I was able to select "enable" in the Intel wifi utility and it is now working.

Unless you know for sure you paid extra for an optional Intel wireless adapter, you don't have one.  The standard adapter isn't Intel - it's Broadcom.

What happens if you uninstall the latest driver update (or use the system restore to go back to a point before you installed it)?
