Nvidia 8400 gs m graphic driver issues.
Computer recently started reporting driver issues then would freeze up and sometimes crash. This would happen when running any 3d application. Now when I turn the laptop on its just a white screen. I can hear the computer starting but no video.
I have a coworker who is reporting the exact same issue to me. He also is using a dell laptop with a Nvidia 8 series M video card.
I started receiving the issue with the latest provided dell nvidia drivers taken from the support site. I then updated the drivers from the Nvidia site but still no dice.
Anyone else have this issue? If so, has anyone figured out how to fix it?

Try an external monitor - if it's equally faulty, it's another bad nVidia chip. See below:
