OS Disk c: out of memory

I have a dell laptop and the c: drive has 56 gig and I keep getting disc full message and downloads stop.  I have moved everything except for program files to the d: drive which still has over 200 gig free. Not sure if I can move the program files to d or if that will cause any issues. Any suggestions?

I noticed that I have 2 program file folders, Program Files and X86 Program Files, are both of these needed?

You'd have to uninstall and then reinstall the applications - you can't just move them.

What operating system is on the notebook?

Yes, they are.  You can also use the disc administrator to shrink the D: partition and expand the C: partition - though if you do this, be sure you've made your backup DVDs, since the quick restore function will no longer work once you do this.
