Please help me if somebody knows how to resolve TPM issue caused by enabling NIC in setup

Hi! My NIC in Dell D610 was disabled in System Setup, but when I enabled it I got the following message "TPM is not working/enabled press F1 to continue or F2 to run setup". I get the same message no sooner I enable my NIC in setup and NIC is not detected by my OS. Please guide me what's this issue and how can I resolve it

I never flashed the BIOS, neither a newer version available, I am running Win-XP service pack 3.

My system's warranty is expired so I am unable to take dell's direct help.
