Power Adapter
Recently, a pop-up appears which says the computer doesn't recognize the adapter. It says the computer will run slower and the battery will not charge unless I connect the Dell power adapter called for. I am using the power adapter provided with the computer when I purchased it a year ago. I ran a battery and full system diagnostic test and all results got a green check mark ( no problems? ). Any help out there?

possible causes:
1.power adapter
2.power jack
3.mainboard/daughterboard

if you can borrow a different Dell compatible power adapter (same wattage or higher!) try it first
