Power cable stop working within 6 months of purchase

Hi I bought Dell Inspiron i5558-2859BLK in November 2015. Power cable was loose but I managed to use it and suddenly  today power cable stop working. It is still under warranty , how can I replace it?

Is there light on the adapter when powered on? 

Does the system power on with another adapter?

Please private message us the service tag of the system along with your email id along with the picture of the adapter.
