Precision M4500 w/ e-Port Plus NIC issues

Good afternoon, I'm wondering if anyone out there is having a similar issue but I recently got a Precision M4500 with the e-Port Plus dock/replicator and I've recently noticed that the wired NIC will randomly lock in at either 1Gb/FDX or 100Mb/FDX depending on how it's feeling that boot.  The e-Port is connected to a Netgear 5-port Gb switch and the issues only started occurring when I received this new laptop/dock.  Previously I used a XPS 1710 with the D-series dock and never had an issue.

I've tried installing the latest NIC drivers (both wired and wireless) from Intel but it hasn't changed anything.  Since I use dual monitors all the time I haven't tried using the laptop out of the e-Port to see if the onboard NIC displays the same problem.

Any thoughts?
