Problem in VGA
Hi
I need your help i buy few days ago Studio xps 16 . i face problem in drivers, when i upgrade the Ati 4670 HD driver. I can not install i revived one message after that software is closed, Then i right click on desktop and select ati properties. He show the message
could not load file or assembly cli.Iimplementition

.Net 3.x Framework is required for it. Try updating/installing to .NET version 3.x if you have not. If problem still persists this issue can appear after updating/installing Catalyst 7.x or higher and launching Catalyst Control Center. There is a workaround by downgrading to the earlier version. ie: install Catalyst 6.x. Make sure you run the ATI remove utillity before installed new drivers.
There seems to be something with the way ATI CCC 7.x acts with .net framework 3.x but as 6.12 uses net 1.x this should fix the issue.

Which specific model Studio XPS 16 is it - i.e. a 1640, 1645, or 1647?
And what OS/version is on it - i.e. Vista Home Premium 32bit, Window 7 Pro 64bit, or whatever?
If it's a 1647, the OS is Windows 7 64bit (Home Premium or Pro?), but it could be Vista or Windows 7 on the other two models?
I assume the drivers you used to upgrade were v8.634.0.0000, A11 - dated 23rd September 2009 - off the Studio XPS 16xx 'Drivers & Downloads' page?
Anyways... the a/m advice could well be right, but I'll add that you need at least .NET Framework 3.0 :emotion-55:
So I'd advise downloading/installing v3.5 SP1, just to be sure :emotion-5:
