Problems With My Dell Inspiron 1464
We have laptop Dell Inspiron n1464 no display and has
beeps some thing like this.
1-2-2
We have tried to take out the battery, reset the bios not working at all.
Any advice from the experts?

Hi ian2683,
I suggest you reseat a few components, like memory, hard drive and optical drive and see if that makes a difference. In the link below punch in the system service tag or express service code and you can access the user manual for removing and reseating components.

i'd tried also removing memory, hardrive, optical drive
tried also resetting the cmos battery.
no display and beeps like this
Beeps
1 long beep and 4 short beeps
like beeeeep beep..beep beep..beep

Hi ian2683,
4 Beeps on startup on a Dell system means a Memory read / write failure. I’d suggest you to reseat each memory on the system and figure out the faulty memory.

nope not 4 beeps
it was like these
like
1st Beep 2nd 3rd 4th 5th beeps
beeeeep beep..beep beep..beep
so we have 5 beeps all in all

Anyone could you please let me know whether is there any solution for this beep code (1 long beep and four short beep) because my dell inspiron 1564 also has same problem.
