Problems with Dell Studio 1558 Hibernation/Standby modes
Hello,
I've been experiencing this problem for a while now, but in the last few weeks it has gotten worse.
I tend to move around a lot with my laptop, so instead of shutting down every time, I typically use Hibernate or Standby. Recently, after clicking Hibernate (or standby) the screen will go blank (normal) and then it will be a good 5-10 minutes before the computer powers off. Then when I go to power back on, I find out that the computer was "improperly shut down". (Which I take to mean that the laptop powered off before the hibernate or standby process was complete.)
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi. I've just found this article, I think this is the cause.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/121903-windows-media-center-updates-enable-disable-waking-computer.html
I've followed the instructions and tonight I will check if problem persists.
