Recovery Media
Hi there,
I lost the Recovery DVD of my Alienware m17x, and I want to apply for a new copy or download link. However, I just transferred the service tag from US to China through a ownership transfer form. Now the Chinese service team replied that they cannot provide a copy since the laptop is not bought in China. Neither can I raise my service tag in Dell.US, as it has already been transferred! Can anyone help me with that?

If you have previously clean installed and are running Windows 8.1 see here:

Microsoft have broke the digital distribution of Windows 7 and replaced it with a non-functional tool so you can no longer download a Windows 7 .iso.
