Red power light & not booting
My wife’s Latitude CPi A was working fine, and she stepped away came back and the laptop was dead. The battery light was a solid red. Now it will not boot. I have checked all of the screws; I have even tried removing the memory, HD, battery, and drive module, to see if I could at least get the BIOS beeps, nope! I have tried with the A/C Adaptor only, battery only, A/C adapter and battery together, and dock. Funny thing is sometimes the batter/power light will blink red every 3 seconds, and sometimes it will be a steady red, and sometimes not at all, it just depends on what acction it wants to do when I plug and unplug the A/C adapter, or battery or dock a few times.
Is the power supply toast? Does it even have one, beside the A/C adapter or battery? Or is there something that I might be able to open it up a fix? Any help would be awesome; I at least really need to get some stuff of the hard drive for my wife’s business.
