Replacing a Inspiron 15R SE (7520, Mid 2010)'s Screen with a touch screen.

I'm looking to buy the screen, plug in, update drivers and play.

I know there might be possible issues with the connectors as well as a switch in the HD screen, which will bring about pros and cons.

But can it be done in Dell URL links?

You need the entire top half of the system - screen, bezel, frame, back cover, cables and hinges.  Essentially you can re-use your system base, and everything above it needs to be replaced.

I'll update with images next time I clean my laptop... Dell URLs and general discussion encouraged.

I lost my laptop so the project can't go ahead. Still interested in seeing this model of laptop going touch screen! Very good laptop.
