Resolution
I have a Precision-Mobile M90 with what is supposed to be a better video (NVIDIA 256 MB graphics) card than what I have in an Inspiron 9400 with and ATI 128MB graphics. I can only get a 1440X900 resolution with theNVIDIA 256MB graphics in the M90 where I can get a 1920X1200 resolutin with the ATI 128MB in the 9400. Is there a solution both units are still under warranty. The real problem is that I now need the 1920X1200 resolution on the M90 for programs that i run.

Resolution depends on the screen type - sounds like you ordered the M90 with a WSXGA screen, which will have 1440X900 as a maximum resolution, while the 9400 haa WUXGA screen. To get better resolution on the M90 you'll need to replace the screen with a WUXGA model - which, if you're concerned about the issue, WILL void the system warranty (and will not be supported by Dell).
