Screen Broke!

Hey.  My sister's computer screen broke.  She didn't even do anything!  She just opened it and it was broken!  She hasn't told my dad OR my mom yet.  What should she do?  She doesn't want our parents to be mad at her, but she wants her screen fixed.  I want it fixed, too, because she keeps asking me to play on MY computer.  Can her screen be fixed and still have all of her files still loaded on her computer?

Any broken screen can be replaced, though the replacement isn't covered by warranty and will likely cost you somewhere between $200-400 depending on the size and resolution of the screen.

A screen replacement won't affect the drive -- when you ship or take the drive for repair, don't send the drive with the system.

Yes but, ejn63, will all of her files still be in her computer?  That is my question.
