Severe BSOD problem on different Dell models
We have several machines which are getting a bsod. It's only on Dell machines. The systems are running Win7 x86 and others x64. The errors are divers. SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION or ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY or ...
We can't figure out what it could be but we are thinking of false drivers. How to see this? And how to resolve it?

Use a utility such as Who Crashed to look at the dump filed - it should point to the faulty driver or program.

I have another application which tells me the faulty driver but this is a Trend Micro file and I doubt there's a problem with it. Could it be the December windows updates? We only apply the necessary updates

Ok, a quick update of what has been done. The problem was seen on Dell Latitude E5550 and caused mostly by the tmcomm.sys which is a system driver of Trend Micro v11. We upgraded the Trend server to the newest XG (v12) and the problem disappeared. But now a new one appeared cwhich is causing BSOD on a newer Latitude E5570 model.
Bug check string: BAD_POOL_HEADER
Caused by driver: TMUMH.sys

That would be another question for TrendMicro -- as it is one of their drivers. You may want to consider removing Trend altogether and using Windows Defender instead.

Currently there is a known issue with XPS 15 9550 with the recently updated Intel HD Graphics 530/P530 Driver 21.20.16.4590 ,A09
Unfortunately the driver hasn't been withdrawn, although several days have passed since users identified the issue.
